DREAM BIG!

DREAM BIG!  ---  a forty minute salon-style performance at GENESIS STUDIOS in 2024. DREAM BIG! fuses choreography, live original music and spoken poetry to explore themes surrounding the complexities of growing up as a woman in Iran, showcasing how love survives in the shadows cast by profound fear of feminine agency. 'DREAM BIG!’ represents the first installment of Neaz's newest work, titled, ‘Poshte Darhayeh Basteh, Hearts of Fire.’ - (behind closed doors, hearts of fire).

You can try to de-thorn them,
over and over and over again you have tried,
and over and over and over again, you will continue to try,

and yet,
they will remain,

through lifetimes, they will always remain,

as strong and steady,
as fiery and elegant,
as beautiful and as unwavering,
as the Rose.
